What is SCRCPY GUI?

SCRCPY GUI is a Windows application that simplifies Android screen mirroring using scrcpy. Instead of typing commands in Command Prompt, you can connect your Android device and manage everything through an easy-to-use interface.

The latest stable release, SCRCPY GUI 2.1, fixes earlier issues and delivers a smooth, reliable experience with both USB and wireless connections.

Key Features of SCRCPY GUI

1. Android Screen Mirroring via USB and Wi‑Fi

SCRCPY GUI supports two connection methods:

  • USB screen mirroring – Fast, stable, and easy to set up

  • Wireless screen mirroring (Wi‑Fi) – Mirror your Android phone without cables

It also supports the new wireless debugging pairing method on Android 11 and above, ensuring secure and modern connectivity.

2. Auto Connect & Wireless IP History

For wireless Android screen mirroring, SCRCPY GUI can:

  • Automatically reconnect to the last used IP address

  • Save up to five previous IP addresses

  • Display clear error messages if a connection fails

This greatly improves the wireless mirroring experience on Windows.

3. Desktop Mode (Use Android Apps Like a PC)

Desktop Mode turns your Android device into a desktop-style experience on Windows.

Benefits include:

  • Apps open on your PC without opening on the phone screen

  • Your phone works like a secondary display

  • Ideal for multitasking, productivity, and app testing

4. Control Resolution, FPS, and DPI

SCRCPY GUI lets you customize:

  • Screen resolution (1080p, 720p, etc.)

  • Frame rate (FPS)

  • DPI and scaling

All settings are saved automatically, so you don’t need to reconfigure them every time.

5. Always on Top & Multi‑Device Support

  • Enable Always on Top to keep the mirrored screen visible

  • Easily switch between connected Android devices

6. Kill ADB for Quick Fixes

If ADB gets stuck or runs in the background, the built-in Kill ADB option helps instantly reset connections.
