Please never upgrade Windows, Always do a clean install
Never upgrade Windows
Microsoft recently released the Windows 11 24H2 update. It’s a significant update for Windows 11, bringing several optimizations along with a few new features—some good, others perhaps not as much. Overall, it's a positive update for Windows 11.
If you're planning to upgrade to Windows 11 24H2, it’s better to avoid upgrading and, if possible, perform a clean installation. There are often issues when upgrading to a major new version of Windows. This isn't just about the 24H2 update; it applies to all past and future updates. We’ve consistently seen both major and minor issues with almost every major Windows update.
Some users have reported encountering Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors and game crashes after upgrading to Windows 11 24H2. So, I recommend avoiding in-place upgrades. Even minor security updates can sometimes cause issues, although major updates are usually more problematic due to outdated drivers or incompatible software.
Remember the Windows 10 KB4532693 update? It was part of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday program and was pushed to millions of devices, but some users reported that it deleted their files.
I’ve made a video on this topic, so be sure to watch it below for more information.
Extra note: If you use Windows 11 then Windows 11 24H2 is a good update but still do not upgrade, Again if possible wait a couple of months or even better if you do a clean installation of Windows 11 24H2.
