In this post I'm going to share with you guys a best free software to password protect a folder on Windows PC called folder locker. it is a completely free and open source software available at Github. In my opinion this is probably the best free software to password lock or protect your folders in Windows PC. the software is really easy to use, once you install the software you just need to right click on the folder that you want to lock and there will be a option called folder lock click on it and set the password to lock the folder that's it.

Extra note : things you need to know before using the software
• The password is saved in the local database and is not uploaded to any server.
• Removing the software also deletes the database and therefore the password.
