Customize Your Windows 11 Taskbar Like a Pro with Windhawk
If you love tweaking your Windows experience, there’s a free tool you need to know about: Windhawk. This powerful Windows customizer lets you completely change how your Start Menu and taskbar look and behave by using something called mods.
For example, you can have your taskbar display:
Time and date
CPU and RAM usage
Network speed
Weather updates
How to Get Started
Download Windhawk from its official website: windhawk.net
Install and open it.
Go to Explore and search for Taskbar Clock Customization.
Install the mod, then go to your installed mods section.
Click Details to see customization options.
Customization Options
Change the time format (12-hour or 24-hour)
Choose what appears on the top or bottom lines of the taskbar clock
Add or remove date, weather, CPU/RAM stats, or network speeds
Customize font, text color, and labels (e.g., replace “RAM” with “R”)
Set a custom weather location
Even add web content like RSS feeds
You can arrange information however you like. For example, put weather on the top row and CPU/RAM usage on the bottom, or show only network speeds. It’s all up to you.
Extra Tip
If you also want temperature monitoring on your taskbar, check out Traffic Monitor, a free and open-source tool on GitHub. It can display CPU, RAM, network speed, and temperature anywhere on your taskbar.
I’ve also made a video on this topic — you can watch it below.
Check out my other posts, I post useful tutorials and tech tips, maybe you will find something useful 😉.
