How to remove linux boot entry from boot menu and BIOS, easily
Just so recently I have been trying out Linux on my main PC by doing a dual booting with Windows 11, I'm new to the Linux so I was actually trying out multiple different Linux distros. So as I was trying out different Linux distros I saw that my boot menu is filled with all these Linux distros name, Even though I have completely deleted the Linux distros that I have already tested. So it looks like somehow Linux boot entry still stays there even after deleting the Linux distro, at least on dual boot on a same drive.
So I was looking for a solution online and I found out that there are multiple ways to do it and there are a couple of softwares which can also help you get rid of those Linux boot entries. So as I was testing different methods and different softwares I found this software called Visual BCD editor. And this is the only software which I actually worked for me and I was able to successfully remove Linux boot entries using this.
Visual BCD Editor is a graphical user interface (GUI) for the Windows bcdedit command-line utility. It allows you to edit the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) store, which is responsible for configuring how Windows boots. And with this yes you can also manage multiple boot loaders. And It can also be used to troubleshoot boot problems, create custom boot menus, and configure dual-boot setups.
I have also made a video in this topic so watch the video handler for more information.
