Why you shouldn't use GIMP
Why you shouldn't use GIMP
GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It's a free and open-source software that you can use to edit images. and also the best free alternative to Adobe Photoshop.
About a year ago I switched from Photoshop to GIMP but there is one issue with GIMP (when you resize image it's gets blurry) that I can't fix and I switched to Kirta (Krita is a free and open-source program specifically designed for digital art and 2D animation). But every now and then I keep coming back to GIMP hoping to fix the issue and use GIMP instead of Krita because GIMP is simpler and lightweight. So this keeps happening for a while ( actually more than a year) and looked for the tutorial all over the internet but I didn't find any solution. So one day I found a Reddit post (check image below)
So basically all this time I thought that it's a an issue, but it looks like GIMP doesn't support Non-destructive editing.
Good news is that soon in May 2024 GIMP 3 is releasing with Non-destructive editing feature and then I can finally switch to GIMP and I no longer have to deal with the blurry images.
I have also made a video in this topic so watch the video down below for more information.

Note: If you really want to use or switch to GIMP you should wait for GIMP 3.0
