Windows 11 build 26040 is a preview build for the next major update of Windows, currently known as "24H2" (or maybe Windows 12). It was released to the Canary Channel of the Windows Insider program on January 26, 2024, and is not yet available to the general public. But if you want to test the it you can actually download the ISO file available of this Windows 11 build from Windows Insider ISO download website.

This Windows 11 build comes with many new features and fixes but the New Windows Setup experience is the biggest change or feature add to the Windows 11. It provides a refreshed Windows Setup process similar to the one used in the Media Creation Tool. Finally after a decade the Windows installation UI is changing and maybe it's a hint towards Windows 12 development? idk 😉 ( maybe a completely refreshed and consistent Windows OS)
