I installed Windows 11 23H2 on an HDD, and here is what happened.

Is HDD good for Windows 11?

While HDDs can technically run Windows 11, they are not the ideal choice due to their slower performance compared to SSDs. SSDs offer significantly faster boot times, application loading times, and overall system responsiveness. This can lead to a more frustrating and less enjoyable user experience. Additionally, HDDs are more prone to mechanical failures than SSDs, which can lead to data loss.

Plus did you know the latest version of Windows 11 ISO file size is almost 6.2 GB, which is the largest Windows ISO so far, and this means more bloats, features and services, which will make system requirements higher like more powerful CPU, RAM and Disk.

I have made a video in this topic so watch the video down below to see what happens when you install Windows 11 on an HDD.

Extra note : Yes you need a SSD to actually use Windows 11. I mean if you saw the video then you know you don't want that Windows 11 experience right?
