 FydeOS v17 is here

FydeOS is a unique operation system, it is based on Chromium OS just like Google's Chrome OS and works just like it, even though Google also have a Chrome OS for PC called Chrome OS Flex but it doesn't have all the Chrome OS's features, so if you are looking for to try out Chrome OS for PC then FydeOS is the one you should try, you even try this on a Virtual Machine 🤯.

Here are some of the new features in FydeOS 17:

* Material You theming. You can now customize the accent colors of the system UI to match your current wallpaper.

* Split window management. You can now easily split windows by hovering over the maximize button.

* Improved emoji input. The global emoji input panel has been optimized for easier emoji input.

* Customizable Chromium browser. You can now customize the look and feel of your Chromium browser in the new tab page.

* Support for HEVC (h265) video decoding. You can now play HEVC (h265) video files on FydeOS.

* Updated rEFInd binaries and theme. The rEFInd bootloader has been updated with new binaries and a refreshed theme.

* Modernized factory icons. Some of the factory icons have been modernized for a more consistent look.

* Optimized system backup and restore. The system backup and restore feature has been optimized for better performance.

* Optimized Linux subsystem payload delivery and updates. The Linux subsystem payload is now delivered and updated more efficiently.

* Optimized Widevine CDM module loading. The Widevine CDM module is now loaded more efficiently, improving performance when playing protected content.

* Various system stability and performance enhancements. Various other system stability and performance enhancements have been made.
