Why you should turn off the Core isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 11

Memory Integrity in Windows 11

Core isolation is a security feature of Windows 11 that protects important core processes of Windows from malicious software by isolating them in memory. It does this by running those core processes in a virtualized environment.  This feature makes it difficult for malicious programs to use low-level drivers to hijack your computer. It is designed to prevent attacks from inserting malicious code into high-security processes.

It's a great addition to the security for your PC but since this is using a virtualized environment that means it is going to use more resources (RAM and CPU) and can impact the performance.

This feature was a feature which you have to enable manually but starting from the Windows 11 20H2 this come pre enabled. Another thing it does is enables the Hyper-V, even if you turn off Hyper-V it still keeps running if Core isolation Memory Integrity is turned on so if you dont want to use Hyper-V at all you have to turn this feature off.

I have also made a video in this topic so watch the video down below for more information.

Extra thoughts: I don't want to use Hyper-V so I have to turn this feature off because some programs doesn't work alongside Hyper-V and I also play games so for better performance it's better for me to turn this thing on. But if you are someone who's really concerned about the device security this a good feature to turn on.
