Windows 11, the latest operating system from Microsoft, has received its first major update since its launch in October 2022. The update, officially called Windows 11 February 2023 Update or "Moment 2", brings a host of new features and improvements to enhance your productivity and creativity.


Some of the highlights of this update include:


- A new screen recording tool that lets you capture your desktop activity with audio and annotations. You can access it from the Quick Settings menu or by pressing Windows + Alt + R.

- A redesigned Notepad app that supports tabs, dark mode, emoji panel, and auto-saving. You can also pin Notepad to the taskbar for quick access.

- A new AI-powered Focus Assist feature that automatically turns on Do Not Disturb mode when you are working on a document or presentation. You can customize your focus preferences in Settings > System > Focus Assist.

- A new widget called Family Safety that helps you monitor and manage your family's online activity and screen time. You can also set up parental controls and location sharing for your children's devices.

- A new Microsoft Edge browser version that supports vertical tabs, sleeping tabs, tab groups, web capture, and more. You can also sync your browsing history and open tabs across your devices with a Microsoft account.

- A new Snipping Tool app that combines the best features of Snip & Sketch and Screen Sketch. You can use it to take screenshots, annotate them, and share them easily. You can also access it from the Quick Settings menu or by pressing Windows + Shift + S.

To get this update, you have two options:


- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to install the "Windows 11 Moment 2 update (KB5022913)". The link to download and install the update is located in the section titled "Optional updates available".
