WireGuard and OpenVPN are both free and open source but WireGuard is new to this game, first it was introduced for Linux only but now it is available for Windows,Mac,Linux,Android,iOS and more, just like OpenVPN. So basically WireGuard is a competitor for OpenVPN. According to some sources online WireGuard gives you more reliable and faster VPN connectivity. So I did small speed test to compare WireGuard vs OpenVPN.
