How to Check SSD Types on Windows PC

Mainly there are two different types of SSDs: Serial Advanced Technology Attachment SSDs (SATA) and Peripheral Component Interconnect express SSDs or Non-Volatile Memory express SSDs (PCIe/NVMe/PCIe-NVMe). NVMe drives can usually deliver a sustained read-write speed of 3.5 GB/s in contrast with SATA SSDs that limit at 600 MB/s. And there is a new feature coming to Windows 10 and 11 called Direct Storage which will make SSDs 70% more faster and use less CPU, and to use this feature you will need a NVMe SSD.

As always I have made a video in this topic so watch the video down below for more information and download link for SSD-Z (gives you SSD information) will be just down below the video.

Extra tip: Windows Direct Storage feature will be very helpful for Gamers because this makes game loading very fast.

That's it for this post hope you enjoyed it, if you did then make sure to share this post with your friends and family and I hope to see you again in another post, for now have a good day and goodbye.
