Android M feature's, release date and more

Now it's time for the Google's next OS Android M, What's new with the Android M? I am going to cover that in short let's get started.
android m
1. Improved version
As you know the last version of the Android L isn't stable, yes, it is true Android L has a lot's of bugs Android Kitkat is the most stable version of Android yet. Android M's design is same as the Android L. So in Android M many bugs will be fixed and will be the stable version of the Android L in my opinion but there are more features added in Android M.

2. Application permissions
Now that's the biggest update in Android M, Android M now let you to choose the application permissions, weather you allow or deny specific permission. For example Facebook Messenger it will promote you with a one-time request for permission to use mic and you have the choice to allow or deny the permission. You can always change permission by going in settings.

3. Multi-window and Split Keyboard (hidden features)
Multi-window feature is extremely experimental in Android M, I don't have Nexus device so i can't tell for sure how to use the multi-window feature but i have heard that you have to do some hack in your buil.prob. Just google about it and you will find out it's not too hard you just have to do some changes in that file. This feature might only work on tables. It is just experiment for now in the future we might have a perfect multi-window system on Android OS.

4. Fingerprint scanner
In Android M powered devices you will get a fingerprint security option, it can be also use to make online purchase.
To use this feature you need fingerprint scanner hardware in your device. With the Google's full support we might see many devices with the fingerprint scanner in the future.

5. Google Chrome custom tabs
Google Chrome custom tabs is a new feature in Android M, Chrome Custom Tabs will allow apps to open a customized Chrome window on top of the active app, instead of launching the Chrome app separately. This will provide a faster and more intuitive user-experience when navigating between apps and the web.

6. Power management
Google has improved power management system, with the help of a motion detector Android M can save your battery life. For example if you let your phone on a table it will automatically reduce the background processes. Developers says that Android M can perform 2 time better than the others in battery life.

7. Application links
Previous versions of the Android's when you open the link from another app it will show you a dialog box to select a browser to open the link and it's annoying, So in Android M for example if you open the YouTube link it will automatically open the YouTube app instead of showing that dialog box.

8. Application auto backup and restore
Google has added auto backup and restore for applications with the Google Drive.

9. New Changes to android launcher
Google has changed the drawer of the apps in android launcher, now it scrolls vertically instead of horizontally.

Release Date:
No one is not sure about the release date of the Android M, My guess is after September 2015. Don't worry i will keep my eyes on Android M and whenever it comes out I will update the post.
